The sweetheart from High School Musical is back again with a banger. This time around he is playing the lead role for a travel series/documentary. The series supports a thoughtful initiative. A cause that concerns us all. It revolves around the idea of sustainable living.
Named DOWN TO EARTH, this series is all about moving around the globe and exploring “healthy and sustainable ways to live.” In this series, Zac would present you with some “new perspectives on some very old problems.” It would also feature a co-star who would be working alongside Zac. His name is Darin Olein. He is a wellness expert and would help Zac in his discoveries using scientific means.
Zac has played very diverse roles throughout his career. Zac has developed a recent inclination towards the global issue. Making the statement more correct, he had history on speaking about the global issue and their solutions but it was not until last year that he showed up on a discovery channel show titled THE GREAT GLOBAL CLEANUP. This T.V series identifies his interest in the matter. A similar sense is conveyed by the trailer.
Yes, there is a trailer. The concept of the show is to portray sustainable living and different cultures around the world side by side. The countries that Zac and Darin will go across while having these adventures include France, Puerto Rico, Iceland, London, Costa Rica, Lima, Sardinia, and Iquitos.
Zac’s take on the show is that “Food, water, and energy are all the main staples for modern life. We’re going to see some top eco innovators see how change is an inside job. And we’re going to be eating really, really well.”
Adding on to it with a smooth plug he says “We need to start rethinking how we consume everything, from our food to our power. Change has to start somewhere. Maybe it’s about time we all changed. It’s time to get down to earth.”
DOWN TO EARTH will be on air by the 10th of July. No need to say but it is a Netflix production so it would be available on Netflix on the 10th. Don’t worry, there is no long wait. Just in a few days, you would be able to spot him fighting against “ecological challenges faced by communities around the globe”.
Seeing Zac doing all these quests for a better living would be a sight to watch. He has been in the dreams of every teenage girl that has seen High School Musical. Now to see him in such a macho and raw role would be amazing especially for a specific generation.
